Guess who's 16 today! I'm working on my arrangement of Seasonal Feathers and planning to cover it soon. Tell me in the comments if you want me to play as Rin, Len, or both.
Please enjoy this saxophone quartet arrangement of Find the Pieces.
The sheet music is available here.
It would be great if you could play Rin.
ReplyDeleteSaxes in general need more interesting and advanced music - I imagine it would be harder to find this quality/criteria for some saxes more than others.
What saxophone are they most suited to? Soprano; alto; tenor?
Baritone sax... Lots of phrases and descendos.
Have a very happy 16th, FlutistPride!
It is a difficult piece for the soprano sax because of range extremes, but not for alto or tenor. The bari sax part gets repetitive, making it easy to forget to count the measures. I'd say it's most suited to alto sax.
DeleteThank you.
Thank you FlutistPride.
DeleteAnd I noticed the lower of the low Cs in the bari part.
Highest and lowest range for soprano? Note?
Ah - the lowness would suit the mood especially tenor.
R is a good carer figure.
